Bucksway’s Leverages and Investments Limited was incorporated as licensed limited liability company in 2017 providing financial convenience to the deficit users of fund. The company started informally in 2016 and formally commenced business in 2017. It has since steadily grown to become a valuable bridge in the finance and wealth creation value chain through breaking down the main limiting barrier of financing which stands between real and enterprising entrepreneurs who have been systematically denied assistance. Many of these businesses had been denied assistance by the formal finance system.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance / Accounts Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Ensure that "previous day" transactions on "Branches General Ledger Accounts" are analysed and posted to appropriate account heads on a daily basis.
• Call-up "previous day" Internal Transfer transactions, analyse and post to the respective bank account on a daily basis.
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Process tax payments
• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
• Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
• Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
• Classify organisation’s Petty Cash transactions and post into the appropriate Account expense heads.
• Ensure that Petty Cash vouchers are appropriately filed and labelled for easy access and retrieval.
• Update financial spreadsheets & Loan Portfolio with daily transactions.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required

• HND, BSc in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 1-5 Years work experience in any reputable bank or financial institution
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and ability.
• IT proficiency is an added advantage.
