PanAfrican Capital Holdings Limited (PAC Holdings) is a Proprietary Investment Company with a special focus on key sectors across emerging and frontier markets in Africa: Financial Services, Hospitality & Entertainment, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Agro-Allied & FMCG, Healthcare, ICT & Media and Renewable Energy.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Internal Audit, Control & Compliance
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time 

Mission

• You will lead the implementation of a robust internal control framework using the COSO model, deliver independent audits, and ensure strict compliance with all regulatory bodies including SEC, NSE, FRC, NASD, and NFIU.
• You will be a key advisor to the company leadership and Board Audit Committee, helping shape the company’s risk posture and protect its assets.

What You will Do

• Supervise statutory compliance reporting and engagements with regulators
• Coordinate inspections and spot checks across departments and SBUs
• Provide actionable insights to leadership through exception reporting and board updates
• Lead the internal audit team on quarterly risk-based audits
• Ensure pre-payment audit reviews, trade settlement monitoring, and daily transaction callovers

What You Bring

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• A professional certification (e.g. ICAN, ACCA, CFA) — required
• Deep understanding of the capital market, financial services regulations, and enterprise risk
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• High integrity, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in internal audit/control/compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
