Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job type: Full-time

About the Job

  • As an integral part of the business area’s management team, the HR Business Partner is responsible for developing effective working relationships, influencing and challenging on the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the achievement of the business area and HR strategies.
  • Provide a consultancy service that delivers HR best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the business area in conjunction with specialist HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and support the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Support the business area with the development of their people, working with the specialist HR team to provide advice, guidance and ad-hoc training as required.
  • Use the appropriate tools and systems to identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development.
  • Support management team to conduct regular reviews of their talent using a range of tools including 9 Box Grid ensuring data and information from other critical processes such as PDP and feedback is considered.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in line with best practice.
  • Drive performance management culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of customer service through behavior aligned with the Champion Breweries values.
  • Work in partnership with the operational management teams to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organizational and people performance in line with business needs

Qualifications

  • Graduate in relevant discipline; Social Science, Administration and Humanities
  • Evidence of CIPM/CIPD/SHRM
  • Minimum of 4 - 8 years relevant HRBP or generalist experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Job Title: Process Technologist

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job type: Full-time

About the Job

  • The role is responsible for organization and administration of checks, tests, audits and education to ensure that responsibility and ownership of quality standards are clearly defined and communicated within the production team and products are brewed and packaged under good manufacturing practice in order to ensure they consistently conform to the specified quality standards of Heineken.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan routine quality audits for all production processes to ensure full compliance to CB Plc/Heineken quality standards.
  • Analyze and classify technological/quality risk potential due to equipment breakdown and reliability to determine corrective action.
  • Execution of objective routine quality audits in production department to ensure full compliance to CB plc/Heineken quality standards.
  • Monitor first -time-right (FTR) performance of product packaging regularly and report promptly negative trends to brewery management.
  • Monitor trends in beer production FTR results to ensure minimal variations and compliance to CB plc/Heineken quality standards.
  • Ensure conformance to cleaning standards in production according to HEIQ/CBPLC Quality manual.
  • Ensuring compliance of the satellite lab analysts (Team leaders/operators in production department) to LSS standards.
  • Oversee PQ Pillar, AM-Packaging pillar activities in brewing and provide all required methodological support in defect reduction and quality loss eradication.

Qualifications

  • Relevant B.Sc Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food Science/Technology, Chemical Engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years as Shift Brewer.

Job Title: Head - Brewer

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job type: Contract

About the Job

  • The role is responsible for ensuring a timely production of all fermented and non-fermented beverage required by the business in the right quantities and quality at minimal cost in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Heineken and ISO based management systems policies and strategic decisions of the company to achieve its key performance indicators and improve its overall performance.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessment and environmental aspects and impact to implement counter measures.
  • Be customer focused and aim to satisfy the requirements of every internal and external customers in line with specified requirements.
  • Adhere to all HeiQuest and food safety procedures and standards on HACCP, bio-vigilance, food defense systems and bioterrorism that will ensure that our products and co-products are safe for both human and animal consumption.
  • Participate weekly in production planning and implement to meet sales and distribution forecasts for brewed products.
  • Ensure products is maintained in order to assure consistency and meet the expectation of consumers in a competitive market.
  • Ensure brewing assets are properly maintained to reduce breakdown downtime.
  • Ensure sales and distribution demands for the area are met in the short, medium and long term to avoid stock out and loss of market share.  
  • Ensure good housekeeping to maintain product quality.
  • Ensure that departmental organization have the continuous availability of sufficient motivated and well trained personnel.
  • Generate and contribute operational and performance reports to management for decision taking.

Qualifications

  • Relevant B.Sc Degree in Biology, Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or any other related field.
  • PGD in Brewing or Equivalent is desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
