Ades was incorporated in 2004 and has been trading in the Royal Borough of Greenwich since then. Firstly as distributors of dried and smoked fish, and in 2006 the company expanded into selling catering supplies before opening the Cash & Carry in 2007. The company is managed by a dedicated team with extensive experience in the food industry and has maintained an excellent reputation in the industry over many years.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for the company
  • Collaborate with the organization’s production team to ensure raw materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements
  • Set and enforce standards for health and safety during work operations
  • Research on ways to reduce waste and maximize resources
  • Ensure manufacturing processes are in compliance with both national and international standards of production
  • Conduct surveys to identify customer requirements and ensure they are being met by established quality standards
  • Review existing process and product specifications to identify the need for improvement or upgrade
  • Approve compliant products and reject defective ones
  • Prepare and present reports to update senior management
  • Maintain proper records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.
  • Design Standard Operating Procedure for respective production departments in accordance with the NAFDAC and SON rules and regulations
  • Recommend to the management on ways to improve on existing quality processes
  • Collate, compile, and analyse relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance
  • Supervise technicians, inspectors, and other company staff to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures
  • Monitor product development processes to identify deviations from quality policies
  • Conduct tests to verify the quality of raw materials and finished products

Qualifications

  • BSc / HND in any Food related discipline
  • Master's Degree in any food-related field
  • Exceptional managerial skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years Quality Control / Assurance experience in a reputable Food Production company
  • HACCP, ISO2000, GAP qualified

Salary
N130,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
