Job Title Tax Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Month-end/Monthly reconciliations of:
  • VAT Input
  • WHT Receivables
  • VAT Liability
  • VAT Output
  • WHT Payable
• Ensuring timely remittance of:
  • WHT
  • VAT
  • PAYE
  • Pension
  • NSITF
  • ITF
• Business premises and Development levy
• Monthly preparation of the tax compliance status report
• Coordination of various tax audits and providing all documents necessary for the audit
• Coordination of various federal and state tax audits and providing all documents necessary for the audits/ investigation
• Transfer Pricing (TP) Filling
• Effectively manage and ensure insurance claims are processed and paid
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Good understanding of the Nigerian Tax laws
• Good writing skills
• Problem-solving/process management skills and pays attention to detail
• Commercial awareness
• Keeps current on tax updates

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must be a Chartered Accountant.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
• Must be a graduate of BSC/HND.
• Proficient in data analysis and other statistics.
• Good use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Advanced excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.
• Collaboration Skills.
