The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) is one of the eleven electricity distribution companies that emerged after the unbundling of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).The company is saddled with the primary responsibility of distributing and marketing electricity to end users within the five states in the South-East geo-political zone; namely: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, with a total of 18 Business Districts offices across these states.

Job Description

• We are looking for a highly capable Web Developer (Node.js) to optimize our web-based applications performance.
• Working within the ICT function, you will be collaborating with our front- end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

Candidate’s Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or similar.
• At least 3 years experience as a Node.js developer.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Analytical & collaboration orientation to solve business problems
• Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvements.
• The duly selected person will be offered a suitable grade/scale matching skill sets, experience and overall competencies.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience in the development of software using MongoDB, PostgrelSQL, Js Technologies
• (Anguler js, React Js)
• An understanding and exposure to Team Foundation Server, BitBucket, JIRA
