The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) is one of the eleven electricity distribution companies that emerged after the unbundling of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).The company is saddled with the primary responsibility of distributing and marketing electricity to end users within the five states in the South-East geo-political zone; namely: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, with a total of 18 Business Districts offices across these states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description

• We are looking for a Data Base Administrator (DBA) who is a subject matter expert with hands-on experience supporting PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• This role will be primarily focused on production database administration for PostgreSQL & MySQL databases.

Candidate’s Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or similar.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Node.js developer.
• An understanding and exposure to Team Foundation Server, BitBucket, JIRA
• Analytical & collaboration orientation to solve business problems
• Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvements
• The duly selected person will be offered a suitable grade/scale matching skill sets, experience and overall competencies.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience in the development of software using MongoDB, PostgrelSQL, Js Technologies (Anguler js, React Js)
