Job Title: Hostess

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

• As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering our restaurant. Your primary responsibility is to greet guests warmly, manage the seating chart efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations and walk-ins.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess station and lobby area.
• Monitor the waiting list and notify guests when their table is ready.
• Assist in maintaining overall restaurant operations as needed.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
