Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant.
• The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant's storeroom, ensuring proper inventory control, storage, and distribution of goods.
• This individual will work closely with the kitchen and restaurant management to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock, including invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor stock expiration dates, rotate stock accordingly, and dispose of expired or damaged items in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate pricing when necessary.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize waste, theft, and stock discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations and maintain proper documentation.
• Train and supervise junior staff members in proper storeroom procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Organize and maintain the storeroom, ensuring proper storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable items.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant management to determine stock requirements, order supplies as needed, and optimize inventory turnover.
• Assist with other restaurant duties as required, including receiving deliveries and supporting the kitchen during peak times.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 2 - 3 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly
