Accountant Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of an Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Special licenses or certification may be required.
  • Ethical behavior.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
