Team Leader Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Team Leader:

  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Decision-making skills
