The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Waiter:

  • Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
  • Flexible work hours.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
